ALUCOR successfully executed the 3D modelling and detailed engineering of onboard equipment, meeting stringent DNV fabrication standards. The project involved the fabrication of 350 tonnes of steelworks, including a highly complex 200mm thick, 15-meter diameter flange, which was machined in-situ to precise tolerances.

The work was completed in compliance with marine classification requirements, securing DNV approval for the Sea Installer crane upgrade, increasing its lifting capacity to 1,600 tonnes.
